DESCRIPTION: Five years after the Taliban's fall, people in Afghanistan enjoy more freedom than they used to have: women can walk on the street without being accompanied by male members of the family, fierce dog fight is back, a street photographer with fake flowers look for customers, children are back in school, men can shave their beard as they like, and the factories are up and running again. However the changes are very slow even five years have passed. Even though some progress have made, many women still wear a traditional burqa (aka chaderi), and the schools still struggle with fundings to buy text books so that boys have to share textbooks. Here is a look at Afghanistan with little but some changes.
